Hard to believe that, 11 years later, Idol is still going
strong but The Swan has faded into obscurity...especially
with our current obsession with public shaming. And
speaking of public shaming, NOBODY does it better than
Congress, which is why I find it fascinating to hear
about the FCC indecency hearings that are being conducted
at the same time as the 9/11 hearings. 'Cause Janet
Jackson's nipple resulted in the deaths of so many
Americans...On a completely different topic, the phone
scan around 1:56 offers plenty of amusement; I
particularly liked the "See!" guy. Totally cracked me up!
Not so much, "Make Us Laugh", which should really be
called, "Make Us Cringe." Really, who knew there were so
many misogynistic, sadistic, animal haters and goobers in
the D&M Nation?
