Me and 5-8 other co-working hooligans listened to Don and
Mike while building Boeing aircraft in Everett, WA during
this era thru to the end of the show until 2008 or whutnot.
Because RADIO waves were weak in the factory we had to find
a sweet spot for a portable radio to get best signal and
then plug a mini FM transmitter into the earphone jack to
produce our own mini-broadcast area. Then we could all dial
in and listen to the show on our Walkmansss. We called it
the BA Airwaves. BA is the market code for Boeing. Man we
had a good time with that show! Nothing like group outburst
of laughter in a group of work pals with earphones on to
help the day. Plus the the bewilderment it caused to non-
listeners. Engineers were fearful because they thot we were
laughing at them. We loved it all. LONG LIVE DON AND MIKE
...and dont fergit to paint yer bald spots!
